This is not a story but a true fact of Lord Sri Krishna’s appearance in a devotee’s house in Bangalore, India. It goes to prove if the desire for the Lord is intense and sincere, He who is beyond time and space, is forced to appear.
This devotee named Sunita, is an ardent devotee of Lord Sri Krishna. Thinking about Him in all her three states of consciousness – waking, sleeping and dreaming. Her only desire right from childhood is only to get a glimpse of this Supreme Power, in the form of her beloved Krishna.
This incident took place sometime last year. Sunita along with her friend, visited Lord Narayana’s temple called ‘Tirumalagiri’ near her home. In the hurry to get to the temple on time, she had quickly offered only cold milk to her Krishna at home. While at the temple, she sees the priests offering all varieties of food for the Lord. In her mind, she continuously apologizes to her Lord for not taking care of Him, as well as the priests did in the temple.
When she got home, to her surprise she sees the chocolate box in her living room being opened and chocolates lying all around her Lord, in the place of worship (puja room). She was ecstatic and also sad, that she had not cooked anything special for her Lord and He had to settle for some chocolates.
Sunita decides to make fried bread called ‘puri’ and offer it to the Lord. She makes preparations for the same, throws some rice flour on her kitchen counter. Before she rolls the dough, she quickly goes into her place of worship and invites her Lord, Sri Krishna with tears in her eyes to please join her to eat the puri’s she has made specially for Him.
Here, when she comes back to the kitchen, she’s is euphoric to see the appearance of Lord Krishna in the rice flour on her counter top. There He is -beauty personified, fully visible with His crown with strings of pearls attached, ear rings (kundala) and extremely very well defined feature. Here are the pictures, which is worth a thousand words: (close-up of the same Krishna above)
After many years of constant praying and calling Him, with all sincerity – He not only appeared but also ate a piece of the offering she made later. How blessed is the soul, who has dedicated every thought and action to that Supreme Lord Sri Krishna.
I bow down to all such great souls, who have dedicated every breath and every heart beat to Him – Lord Sri Krishna, the divine flute player of Vrindavan. I am sure this appearance of Krishna, will waft the mischievous tunes of His melodious flute into the loving hearts of all devotees everywhere.
